OVERVIEW:

    Report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for developing, refining, and trouble-shooting the rubber molding processes.
    Will provide day-to-day plant-wide technical manufacturing support
    Will ultimately improving the overall plant efficiency and quality.
    

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordinate the process engineering, including design, planning and development
    Undertake scoping study level trade-off evaluations of process alternatives
    Develop processing plans, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, cost analysis and other areas as appropriate
    Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations
    Responsible for new compound development,and documentation


To be considered for this role:

•     Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering - Required
•     5+ years of experience in rubber injection molding
•     Must have a solid working knowledge of rubber molds and related tooling
•     Must have exposure to rubber mixing and extrusion processes
•     Will have ability to manage and complete multiple projects
•     Adept at using lean manufacturing tools and advanced problem-solving techniques
•     Have proficiency with Microsoft Office
•     Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred

Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
