Local Truck Driver - Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Summary
 - This position is for a Full Time Local Class A Truck Driver. The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. 
The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, and pneumatic, intermodal, flat beds.  Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions.  Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.

Essential Job Functions -
The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations.  This includes but not is limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.

 Class A CDL with Tank endorsement (obtain haz mat within 30 days)24 years of age

No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
No convictions of D.U.I, D.U.S., or open container in the previous 7 years

No positive controlled substance /alcohol tests from prior employersCandidates must successfully complete DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical and background check.
