Argus Leader Media, a Gannett Company, has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Client Services Specialist based in our Sioux Falls, South Dakota location.  This position is responsible for the support of our internal customers’ systems and technology including: maintaining, installing, and trouble-shooting of software, operating systems, and computer and associated hardware.  Qualified candidate will work to resolve the software and hardware problems of internal computer users while at the same time making the user comfortable and confident with the technology and the IT department.

We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service, communication, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with above average technical skills and a passion for helping customers with technical questions and issues.  One or more years of working experience with supporting technology and the people who use it is preferred.

Specifically, we are looking for someone with a combination of any of the following experience:  Windows XP, Windows 7, Apple OSX (6, 7, or 8), Microsoft Office Suite (2003, 2007, 2010), LAN/WAN support, Windows 2003 and 2008 Server, and workstation configuration and repair.

 Although based in Sioux Falls and being primarily responsible for client services at that business unit, this position is part of a larger IT organization responsible for supporting over 2,000 users who work in 50 Gannett facilities across seven states.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with the potential for some on-call responsibilities.  Flexibility in schedule based on user needs and special projects is required.
