We are currently looking for a Sr. Hardware Reliability Lead with strong experence with testing of Hardware Reliability . Below is a high level experience overview that are necessary.
Description:
This position will be a part of the hardware development group. You will be responsible for development of a custom leading edge food processor equipment . As the hardware reliability lead, you will provide the technical expertise and manage the testing of motors, subsystems, actuators, finishes for test, shipment and lifecycle. You will be responsible for development of success and test criteria in a field with limited industry standard.
Major Job Functions:
Reliability (80%):
Develop lifecycle requirements for parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Develop accelerated life test cases.
Develop Labview code for cycle and/or reliability testing
Manage test data and interpret results.
Execute or manage testing of system. work to standardize and improve test plans and methods (atmospheric, dynamics, misuse, durability, packing, margin, and test to fail).
Working with design teams to achieve high new product reliability through target setting, risk analysis (FMEA) and design review, design for reliability, reliability estimation, gap analysis and action plans to close gaps.
Validation (20%):
Perform electrical system integration and troubleshooting; assist in the design of data acquisition systems to collect ground instrumentation data
Test DC & servo motors, valves, etc to data sheets.
Job Requirements:
strong statistical skills
Bachelor of Science degree in physics or engineering.
Programming skills that include: LabView, C
Digital logic testing with pulse generators, logic analyzers or oscilloscopes.
Have used basic bench top instruments such as: function generators, power supplies, voltmeters or data acquisition instruments.
Familiar with using signal analyzers and signal sources.
Must be able to work onsite in Seattle.
Database experience a plus.
Robotics experience a plus.
