Responsible for Operating the Embrex machine as outlined by Embrex and Manager. Perform daily needle changes as outlined by Embrex and Manager

1.  Operate the Embrex machine as outlined by Embrex and Manager. Perform daily needle changes as outlined by Embrex and Manager.

2.  Adhere to individual facility embrex vaccinating schedules

3.  Responsible for insuring that hatchers are set up properly after the vaccinating process. This is to include but not limited to placing buggies in the correct position.

4.  Maintain the required sanitation scores in accordance with facility S.O.P.. This is to include but not limited to Setter and Hatcher hallway sanitation, floors and drains.  Required to clean and disinfect setter floors and hallways after transfer.

5.   Follow proper poultry welfare guidelines to ensure proper disposal of cull eggs/chicks during transfer

7.  Handle eggs in such a manner that no more than 5 cracked eggs per 15 trays. If more than 5 are recurring than discipline procedures will occur.

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the Untied States

Strong work history, worked for one employer for at least 6 months in the past three years.

Willing and able to stand for several hours.

Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty, (chick down) enviroment.

Willing and able to work around dust, feathers, animals, and various chemicals.
Excellent work history, worked for one employer for more than 6 months in the past three years.

Previous manufactoring, production, especially food production experience.

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: Exposed to temperatures of 60 degrees to 105 degrees and humidity?s up to 100%. Work in wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment. Exposed to chemicals , drugs and vaccines to be covered in M.S.D.S. training and hazardous communications. Use P.P.E.  as required. Bending and twisting requiring motions of up to 1080 repetitions reaching and lifting a maximum of 40 lbs. Requires constant standing and walking. Be able to push or pull up to 500 lbs.
