Mill Superintendent - Lincoln, NEADM MillingExempt level position
Position Summary: Team Lincoln Flour Mill is seeking a Mill Superintendent to manage the Flour & Corn Milling operations. The plant produces bulk and packaged flour products. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Train and develop process staff, optimize yields, moistures, capacity and product quality in accordance with budgetary parameters. Develop and supervise capital improvement projects to be complete within scope, on time and budget. Maintain records in accordance with established ADM policies and procedures.  Assist external departments as business needs arise. Follow the Management Operating System to achieve established goals for all production related performance indicators.

The Mill Superintendent directly supervises approximately 12 colleagues while reporting to the Plant Manager. This position is to proactively seek and support the plant goals and vision in accordance with ADM Milling's Strategic vision. Team Lincoln's Mill Superintendent will base all decisions, perform acts and personify self in the best interest on the company.
Peer relationships include the Quality Assurance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Packaging Superintendent, Elevator Supervisor and the EHS & Food Safety Manager.


Responsibilities:

This position has overall responsibility for the efficient operation and maintenance of the two Flour Milling and Corn Milling units for maximum yield and productivity.
People safety is our Number One Priority.  As a member of management, the expectations are to model and enforce all safety practices.
This position has the responsibility to train employees and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards and poor practices during daily rounds of the plant is a top priority.
The Milling Superintendent must be proactive and engaged in employee development, team building and continuous improvement of methods, processes and systems.
This position requires a thorough working knowledge of all equipment, systems, processes and methods regarding our milling units. 
Food safety and the quality level of processes and products must be maintained at the highest possible level to meet Customer, QC and Regulatory requirements.


The Superintendent must maintain necessary operational documentation required for tracking mill production, quality, equipment and processes. He or she must develop, maintain, and execute predictive and preventative maintenance schedules and assignments.
