BASF is seeking two Business Representatives to manage sales territories in central Ohio with %2410M in net sales annually. The Business Representatives are responsible for managing accounts in the territory and meeting BASF specified targets by creating value for the existing customer base through products, services, and/or solutions from BASF. Responsibilities also include:
Developing a business plan for territory retailers, distribution and key influencers, developing short and long term customer action plans and anticipating to market dynamics.
Conducting product updates, trials, technical and sales training to producers, retailers, distribution, and other influence groups.
Providing timely reports to identify opportunities, emerging threats, and competitive activities.
Participating in regional or national cross functional teams.
Provide timely and accurate administration and to communicate customer needs to others in the organization.
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Science (such as Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology) or related field
Minimum 2 years field sales, marketing, and/or account manager experience
Knowledge of Agriculture
Demonstration of a strong work ethic, self motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects
Strategic Thinking
Communication Skills - written and verbal
Intermediate computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Demonstration of the ability to influence and impact
A self starter who is achievement oriented
Other skills: strong presentation , business acumen, innovation/creativity, teamwork, time management
Demonstrated career development and progression
Preferred:
Agronomy and/or Life Sciences experience
