Role Purpose/Accountabilities:
Seeking an intern to work Part time from October 2013 to December 2013.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: The intern will work within the Information Services group; providing support to the Application Services, Infrastructure Services and Architecture and Information Services teams. These teams focus on implementing client services to Syngenta employees in:

1. Creating efficiencies
2. Conducting gap analysis
3. Managing tickets through the service desk
4. Assisting in the e-Business environment
5. Providing desktop support
6. Providing support to the email, data center, and server operations in the company's network by interfacing with vendors and employees to create solutions for problems in our support systems.

The intern will be responsible for one (1) main project during the internship and will have exposure to additional projects within the Information services organization.

Critical Success Factors & Key Challenges: Candidates must:

- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate capacity to work in and contribute to a team work environment
- Have creative solutions for complex problems (i.e computer incidents)
- Exposure to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Sharepoint/Moss)


Additional Information:
Students interested in this position should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Industrial Engineering.
