A ten week Summer Internship in one of our business areas will introduce you to our company and our industry. Through various speaking engagements and projects, you will gain exposure to different technical disciplines, broadening your understanding of the personalities, skills and competencies that sustain the leading multinational food processing company. The Program is designed to provide you with an opportunity to gain exposure to various disciplines while allowing you to build a network of contacts around the organization.
The JBS internship is an intensive experience. You will have immediate responsibility for tasks and projects that directly affect our profitability. By giving us your perspective and insight, you enhance our capabilities as a company.
The Base Camp program has various tracks to ensure that candidates are best matched with their area of interest and skill set.
At the end of the internship, successful interns have the opportunity to be considered for future placement in the Ascend Leadership Training Program or other full-time positions with JBS.
Qualifications:
Junior or graduate student with a graduation date between December 2014 and June 2015.

Strong critical thinking problem solving, and project management abilities, judgment and initiative.

Extracurricular activities, internships and academic projects that indicate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment

Exceptional communication skills necessary to interact directly with senior managers and clients
