Based in Fairfax, VA, we are an innovative technology based firm helping our clients bring products to market. Currently, we have an immediate need for a Business Analyst, someone who possesses an exceptional work ethic and a solid passion for what they do. What you'll be doing:
• Acts as liaison between the client’s business organization and our software delivery teams
• Analyze current client business processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of business operations related to enterprise software systems.
• Participate in design and recommendation of new business systems
• Develop detailed software requirements for software delivery teams using a variety of tools such as agile user stories, RUP use cases, etc.
• Communicate closely with software delivery teams and QA teams to clarify requirements and quickly follow-up on questions and concerns regarding requirements
• Working knowledge of agile processes including user stories, backlog management, agile estimation, and general Scrum practices

What you need for this position:
• 3+ years of technical business analysis experience
• Experience with requirements gathering, writing functional specs and strong understanding of full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge in information technology architecture components, principles, procedures and practices.
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required.
