This position is to properly service, repair, and maintain equipment operated by the company in compliance with OEM specifications and DOT Safety Regulations.

The job summary listed below may not be a complete list of all the essential functions of the job.
Diagnose failures and make repairs on systems such as cooling, intake, exhaust, lubrication, electrical, brake (air & hydraulic), suspension (air & spring), front end & alignment
Diagnose failures and make repairs wheels, rims, hubs and tires.
Diagnose failures and make repairs power train components (engine, clutch, transmission, drive line, and differentials)
Perform oxygen and acetylene welding repairs.
Perform cab, body and frame repairs.
Diagnose failures and make repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration and hydraulic systems. .
Perform other preventative maintenance as required.
Provide training to mechanics at lower levels as directed by supervisor.
Perform other task as assigned.

Strong reading, writing and analytical skills
Strong mechanical skills
Possess a valid state drivers license with no restrictions
A minimum of 1 year of previous garage/diesel mechanic experience

High School Graduate or GED
ACE certifications
