Located in the VA/DC area, we are looking for a Web Designer/Front-End Developer to join a dynamic digital media team of web content producers, developers, video producers, social media experts, and strategic communication professionals! This Web Designer/Front-End Developer will have experience with Web/Graphic Design, CSS3 and HTML 5. Additionally, the potential candidate will have a strong portfolio and 3 years of experience working on Drupal and Wordpress sites.

Come help our team, move from just posting text/images/video to creating dynamic and engaging interactive features and spreads on our clients' websites.

Responsibilities:
Will be translating websites from English to Kurdish
• Design and develop interactive web graphics
• Maintaining and implementing changes to our clients Drupal/Wordpress websites
• Gather requirements for updates and new designs for web pages during weekly meetings with other offices
• Manage changes and updates to our clients websites using our bug tracking ticketing system (Zendesk)
• Close tickets assigned to you in our ticketing system in a timely manner

Qualifications:
Must be fluent in Kurdish
• 3+ years Web/Graphic Design experience
• Proficient Drupal development skills
• Exceptional front-end coding skills (i.e. PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jquery, etc.)
• Experience building interactive features/graphics/visualizations (timelines, maps, etc.)
• Excellent problem solving, time management and communications skills
• Experience developing to 508 compliance standards
• Experience with creating reactive/responsive websites
