Director, Milk Policy and Procurement
Industry leader is searching for HIGH LEVEL position to oversee and manage all milk procurement, manage producer communications, and policy for all sites.
Competencies:
- Responsible for all Dairy Procurement for all sites.
- Clear understanding of milk pricing, policy, & regulatory issues (FMMO & CA).
- Provides policy leadership on issues impacting dairy producers and procurement.
- Maintain a high level of Producer satisfaction by responding quickly and effectively to their needs.
- Responsible for developing and expanding the Producer/Customer risk management tools.
- Proficiency in explaining all products, services, turnaround times and delivery schedules.
- Continuously look for opportunities to increase HCC's ability to further serve the customer.
- Familiarity with the budget process and financial statements.
- Manages the process that prohibits harmful regulations on local, state and national levels and develops ongoing compliance policy.
- Ability to reach sound conclusions based on the evidence at hand; to form an opinion by discerning and evaluation, good sense.
- Ability to engage and positively influence others to decisions and actions.
- Active efforts to influence events rather than passive acceptance; self-starting; the power, ability or instinct to begin or follow through energetically with a plan or task.

Annual completion of OSHA Regulatory training and Company safety training program.

- Software program proficiency in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Qualifications: Education & Work Experience:
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
- Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree in a related science and/or business field or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of advancement through progressive managerial positions
- 3 years minimum should be in Plant, Operations or Engineering Management while managing technical personnel and complex activities
