Famers Cooperative is seeking for someone to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under direction of experienced personnel by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide a communication channel between the customer and location staff in order to set proper service expectations levels, resolve problems and scheduling issues.
- Keep location personnel informed so that a consistent and proper message is communicated to the customer.
- Understand and efficiently operate dry fertilizer plants, chemical containment buildings, and NH3 plants.
- Learn & understand agronomy and price lock contracts.
- Understand & practice QMS Policies and Procedures.
- Weighing FC QMS Procedures, Weighing Procedure, AS 400 Truck Scale Interface; Data
- Management Creating Delivery Numbers
- Learn how to look up grain inquiries, settlements and the basic knowledge of sealing grain.
- Understand grain flow within facility and where everything is located. Bins, equipment, rolling stock, etc.
Identifying insects and fumigation procedures: FC QMS Procedures, Infested Grain, Identification & Management; Aluminum Phosphide Application Procedure (Receiving Pit); Aluminum Phosphide Treatment for Loads Placed into Storage.
- Attend regional & location safety committee meetings
- Understand and practice all Human Resource policies and procedures
- Manage accounts receivable risks on current and potential customers
- Maintain and understand records of chemical repackaging agreements and shuttle record keeping.
- Understand and perform entries in RCI CAP and PM programs
- Follow all FC Safety policies & procedures.
- Understand and perform inventory management practices
- Understand agronomy and grain P/L
- Understand and perform budgeting and capital expense processes
- Enter grain QQ and agronomy inventory measurements into AS400
- Demonstrate ability to use the following computer programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, Dashboard, TimeStar, AS400, and Access.
- Maintain housekeeping of all grain, agronomy, shop and office facilities and follow the QMS procedures
- Present solutions, products, services, concepts, and the value of what FC offers
- Understand customer licensing requirements for restricted-use pesticides
- Understand the capabilities and limitations of equipment (floaters, rogators, tool bars, etc.)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
