Role Purpose/Accountabilities:
Role purpose:

- Create awareness and demand for nematicide solutions at the retail level in targeted midwest high nematode soybean markets.
- Utilize sound agronomic understanding of soybean production practises, competitive products and impact of nematodes on soybeans to build retail and seed company confidence for recommending and driving Clariva Complete Beans as the best solution in the midwest.
- Support retailer and seed company grower initiatives to build grower awareness of need for Soybean seedcare including nematodes and their impact on soybean crop production.

Accountabilities:
- Lead delivery of nematode agronomic training at Commercial seed company and Retail level
- Lead delivery of Clariva training to sales force as part of Field Force effectiveness
- Lead interaction with other field force development initiatives to ensure Clariva training is effectively positioned
- Participate in other development initiatives where appropriate.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Critical knowledge:
- Understanding of Soybean agronomic practises on farm
- Knowledge of soybean seed market.

Critical experience:

- Familiarity with the business scope (technology, customers, processes etc.)
- Experience with Seed Plant Operations
- Basics in seed treatment application, seed quality and formulation chemistry
- Experience in complaint handling and identifying solutions (putting the customer at ease)
- Experience in troubleshooting and root cause evaluation.

Desired technical, professional and personal capabilities:

- BS degree, preferably in Ag engineering or in a related area
- Previous agronomy experience
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with seed companies and retailers
- Desire to work as part of a commercial team.

Critical leadership capabilities:

- Work effectively across organizational boundaries including Interaction with North American and Global seed care teams, and specifically as part of the Clariva Launch team
- Set direction: Communicate effectively
- Create edge: lead charge to ensure understanding of nematode market with targeted retailers and seed companies
- Drive results: achieve goals for awareness and product demand
- Liberate potential: promote teamwork in support of broader sales organization
- Manages ambiguity effectively as new technology continues to be evaluated and refined.

1) Understand customer needs in order to provide technical knowledge of the nematode market in an effective manner to retailer and seed company customers
2) Manage other key stakeholders including working with the soybean community to increase awareness and stakeholder support for the technology
3) Energized by daily work to convert people to believing in the investment for an effective nematicide
4) Energized by the desire to work as part of a leading edge launch team
5) Can work effectively from a remote location
6) Develop keen understanding and ways of working with commercial and retail seed treatment locations to strengthen the Seedcare Institute approach to service, support and training.

- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
- Traveling 50-75%
