Position Purpose:

As a Sanitation Supervisor in our Kozy Shack refrigerated desserts plant, you are accountable to direct, oversee, and coordinate sanitation related work activities to ensure safe and efficient operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

• Manage and direct the sanitation related work to ensure compliance with LQMS (Land O' Lakes Quality Management System) and sanitation standards.
• Effectively coordinating and utilizing available resources to formulate action plans for sanitation process improvements, LQMS requirements, cost reduction, etc.
• Provide technical direction and training for all sanitation associates to LOL standards.
• Monitor daily execution of master sanitation schedule.
• Develops and trains on sanitation procedures for all production areas
• Ensure that documented sanitation procedures are followed (i.e., O-ring inspection, bio-luminescence testing).
• Completion, review and audit of cleaning activities for timely processing start-up.
• Partner with Ecolab to ensure the most up to date procedure and chemical supplies are utilized, as well as develop sanitation improvements (cost, safety, etc.)
• Ensure all Sanitation Records are properly completed with accurate information and organized.

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):

Minimum of two years of experience in food or similar perishable product environment (manufacturing, quality or sanitation).

Competencies-Skills (Required):

Self-directed individual taking ownership to ensure departmental and production goals are met
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (i.e., team building)
Proficiency in Continuous Improvement tools (fishbone, 5-Y, etc.)
Strong decision making abilities.
Bilingual English/Spanish speaking
