Role Purpose/Accountabilities:
Role purpose:

- Develop strategies and provide leadership to maximize the lifetime profitability of products, while ensuring all US and Canadian Business units receive strong products that are well desinged, properly positioned and efficently supplied for incorporation into customer offers.

Accountabilities:
- Develops the annual product plans for the Sugarbeet Seeds crop
- Presents campaign plan to Customer Marketing leads of involved commercial units and monitors implementation and results.
- Implement plans to maximize products profitability and volumes, e.g. pricing, positioning, advancement, assortment mgt., promotion & advertising as well as developing comprehensive value propositions based on advantages of our offer vs. competition and benefits for growers & value chain.
- Actively contributes to the development & continuous up-dates of integrated crop strategies.
- Coordinates with the marketing team (Communications, etc) to ensure timely production and delivery of required marketing and communication material as stipulated in the marketing plan.
- Develops/maintains a competitor and market information database in line with respective guidelines.
- Work closely and effectively with sales, product evaluation, production and supply, finance and breeders.
- Manage Official Trials with the local Sugar Cooperatives, manage relationship with sugar coopertive seed committees
- Actively participate in the advancement and sales production planning process
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Transition accountabilities:

- Establish the networks and cross functional relationships required to successfully develop targeted annual marketing/campaign plans.
- Build & maintain strong links to key business partners such as, Crop Team, R&D, Production, Finance, Commercial Units and Supply Chain as well as potential external contributors to an integrated offer approach.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Critical experience and knowledge:

- 3+ years marketing or sales experience
- Experience with field research trials and demos.
- Minimum of a BS in Business, Economics, Agriculture, Marketing or related field.
- Master's degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Ability to influence direct and indirect cross functional relationships
- Successful track record of people/process and project management.

Additional Information:

- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US
