We are currently looking for Registered Nurses for all shifts at our certified nursing facility in West Columbia, SC.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that residents receive consistent and high-quality care. This will include administering medications and medical treatments as well as coordinating treatment plans and determining the level of care for each resident based on their specific needs.
Your specific duties as a Registered Nurse will include:
- Developing, reviewing, revising and implementing policies and procedures governing nursing practices and procedures
- Communicating information to staff members concerning a patient/resident's current condition or changes in their condition
- Preparing for and participating in surveys made by authorized government agencies
- Admitting, transferring and discharging residents as required
- Assessing and evaluating residents’ physical and emotional status
- Monitoring medication passes and treatment schedules
- Maintaining positive relationships with all members of the healthcare team
Job Requirements:
As a Registered Nurse, you must be a compassionate and empathetic caregiver with the ability to effectively lead your staff, both motivating them and holding them accountable to provide the highest standards of care to our residents.
You must always put our residents’ needs first, and have the ability to focus on the big picture while also taking care of even the most minor of details.
It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with everyone from staff to residents to family members.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
- Associate degree in nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and active RN license
- Firm commitment to customer service and exceptional patient care
- Strong analytic, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work equally well in a team setting or independently
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Hospice experience, a plus
- Palliative care certification, a plus
