 Job Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that residents receive consistent and high-quality care.​ This will include administering medications and medical treatments as well as coordinating treatment plans and determining the level of care for each resident based on their specific needs.​

Your specific duties as a Registered Nurse will include:
  •         Developing, reviewing, revising and implementing policies and procedures governing nursing practices and procedures
  •         Communicating information to staff members concerning a patient/​resident's current condition or changes in their condition
  •         Preparing for and participating in surveys made by authorized government agencies
  •         Admitting, transferring and discharging residents as required
  •         Assessing and evaluating residents’ physical and emotional status
  •         Monitoring medication passes and treatment schedules
  •         Maintaining positive relationships with all members of the healthcare team

Job Requirements:
As a Registered Nurse, you must be a compassionate and empathetic caregiver with the ability to effectively lead your staff, both motivating them and holding them accountable to provide the highest standards of care to our residents.​
 You must always put our residents’ needs first, and have the ability to focus on the big picture while also taking care of even the most minor of details.​
It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with everyone from staff to residents to family members.​

 Specific qualifications for the position include:
  • Associate degree in nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current and active RN license
  • Firm commitment to customer service and exceptional patient care
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to work equally well in a team setting or independently
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills 
  • Hospice experience, a plus
  • Palliative care certification, a plus
