Grain Superintendent’s Essential Functions:

* Ensure grain quality grain condition by conducting facility inspections, bin temperature monitoring and performing preventative maintenance
* Keep all required paperwork such as OSHA and safety inspection forms current and complete at all times
* Assist in stocking merchandise and inventory control
* Co-ordinate the cleaning, maintenance and repair of vehicles
* Promptly respond to customer needs, questions, and concerns immediately
* Promote safety awareness; ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures and reporting standards

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

* High School diploma
* Basic computer skills
* Seek out and attend continuing education
* Ability to write reports and professional correspondence
* Able to utilize basic algebra and geometry concepts
* Identify and prevent workplace hazards quickly
* Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a 7B license from the State of Kansas REQUIRED
