To ensure that all product is packed properly and is ready to ship to customers. Ensure that product packed meets customer specifications.

1. Grading- to Visually inspect all packaged product for proper package seal, keeping up with production flow .
Inspect and pull out all rejects from up to 30 inches and place in rework tote.
Return any bag that activates the metal detector. May have
to return packages up to 9 feet away. Must use both hands.

2. Get boxes from conveyer, fill in boxes with correct number of bags working at the speed of production flow, Push boxes down the conveyer to the scale. Must use both hands.

3 Monitor Scale to ensure all boxes are weighed, take weight label and place on box. If box scale did not register weight of box ensure that box goes back through.

4. Box Room- Make boxes ensuring that the line has sufficient boxes, Stack boxes of product on to pallet, put labels as needed on boxes. Break down all packaging materials to be returned to warehouse.

5. Label and fold designated boxes for product by and or by hand, add dividers if needed, send boxes to production line. Reach and bend to remove boxes out of chute at completion of shift in order to reuse for the next shift.
Able to load and unload automatic box maker, using correct procedures as specified by supervisor. Remove bundles of boxes up to 30 pounds off wooden pallet at a height of 7 feet working from top to bottom.
Carry bundles on dry floor up to 10 feet in order to load the automatic box folding machine. Must use both hands.

6 Report Machine Performance issues and quality concerns to lead or supervisor.

7. Other Duties as assigned by supervisor, including rotation to other departments as needed.

May need to obtain a Jack operators license through Perdue training and testingHigh School Diploma
