Network Team Lead - Multicast / BGP -Chicago

I am looking for a team lead for a low latency networking team of 5 senior engineers in the Chicago Finance space. You will be responsible for the technical leadership of the team, with a divide of 80% hands-on technical tasks and 20% actual people management.

Some of the major technical projects you will be leading, include;


  •  designing a rapidly expanding global ultra-low latency network, extending the the low latency services globally
  •  large network deployments for multiple large, global finance clients
  •  expanding networking footprint globally (e.g. there are 6 European data centre intiatives)
  •  adding ultra low latency connectivity services

Your profile:
 BSc in Computing Science or equivalent
 CCIE certification is preferred
 A minimum of 5 years working experience in a senior network engineering role, with some technical lead experience
 Extensive multicasting experience is required (design level)
 BGP/MPLS - strong routing protocol experience (design level)

The environment you will be working in is entrepreneurial, highly technical, and innovative. Your base compensation will range between 120 and 140k plus benefits and an end-of-year bonus.
