Automotive Robotics Inc (ARI) is seeking a Test Verfification Engineer to join the growing team!

Job Description:

Objectives: To test the On-board Telematics sofware and to improve the quality of the work product.​ Find defects as early as possible and improve the quality on the builds to test.​
 Shorten the integration period.​
Shorten the development cycle or more implemented functions or decrease the backlog of Devlopment tracks.​
Start the charter testing earlier and increase the number of test charters performed.​

Responsibilities:

    Continuously have knowledge about the quality of the ongoing Work Product.​
    Drive the work to make the integration testing as automatic as possible.​
    Communicate to project and line the improvements made in eg.​ the test routines, mainly through the Wiki pages.​
    Responsible of an integration test rig.​

DURING DEVELOPMENT (both new development and maintenance)

    Run tests in the main branch.​
    Regression: stability/​function (eg.​ CPU/​memory/​start up time)
    New/​changed functionality: smoke tests.​
    Support the complete function testing for the developers (private/​function branch) – depending on time available.​
    Support developers bench rigs.​
    Support how to configure the Telematics Gateway/​test environment.​

DURING INTEGRATION PERIOD

    Be the liason between development and test teams.​

Additional Interfaces

    Interact with maintenance responsible, Work Product leaders, test leaders, and rig responsible.​
    Report the work, progress and quality status to the Work Product leaders.​ (participate in all stand-up meetings)
    Be an active member of the rig team

Requirements:

Minnimum Education:
Associates degree  in an engineering related field.​
Should have minnimum of 5 years of Embedded testing experience.​
Candidates should be familiar with datalink protocols such as CAN (e.​g.​ J1939) and CANalyzer, CANOE, Matlab/​Simlink, AUTOSAR.​
Strong knowledge in Quality Management (QMS), DFMEA, Project Assurance Plan and/​or other Quality tools
