District Sales Manager- Delta / Mid South (KY, AL, LA, MS, AR, SE MO, West TN)

Nationally recognized seed company is in search of a DSM to cover a territory in the Delta.  While the role will have some farmer contact, this is a business to business type of DSM calling on established dealers and dealer prospects. 
This will be a newer territory for this company, so we need someone with strong Ag Retailer contacts through the Delta and who is not afraid to bring a new (but well suited for the area) product to market.

Responsibilities will include:

•     Work with established dealers and distributors to grow the market share
•     Establish new dealers and distributors for the given area
•     Do direct selling and provide solid agronomic services to the local growers
•     Be a coach and leader to the team of sales professionals

A minimum of 2 years sales experience is required for this position; ideally someone with 4 plus years field sales experience is desired.

The company will offer a solid base salary with a solid commission and bonus structure.
