84 Lumber is looking for individuals to install energy efficient products and services in our customer’s homes.
Selecting the proper materials and installation methods is critical to meet the efficiency needs of each job.
You will be working both inside and outside in craw spaces, attics and basements; insulating these areas as well as refrigerated areas, boilers and steam pipes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Install insulation – Batts, Spray on, Blow in; onto a variety of structures and surfaces to exclude or retain heat 
• Install vapor barriers 
• Complete prep work including foam and caulk, fireproofing, baffles, wind tunnels, filling joist spaces, etc.
• Load and unload building materials 
• Complete safety checks and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
• Job site cleanup 
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

This position offers the opportunity for promotions to other positions such as crew chief and/or auditor.

Preferred Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• General construction knowledge is a plus Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work in confined spaces as well as roof top applications
• Submit to and pass Pre-employment drug test, Background check 
• Good previous work history
