Electrician "B" 2nd Shift. 12:45pm-9:15PM

The purpose of an Electrician "B" is to repair, install, maintain, adjust, and ensure safe electrical operation of all machinery and plant facilities.

Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
Knowledge of and perform all the task required of an Electrician "B" and "C" Helper
Able to read, understand, interpret and draw electrical schematics needed to plan, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, or overhaul electrical parts, equipment and systems
Ability to troubleshoot an design controls, 3-phase circuits and advanced control circuits and repair or replace
Through knowledge of plant electrical layout, wiring, parts supplies, circuits and controls
Work with Senior Electricians and work independently without supervision.  Train and direct Electricians "B" and "C" helpers when needed
Ability to size and calculate electrical jobs with a knowledge and understanding of N.E.C.
Wear and/or use all safety equipment required for the job.  Job requirements may dictate earlier or later starting and quitting times and response to emergency calls independently
Chosen candidate must provide personal hand tools and have the flexibility to work various shifts and schedules

At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Strong work history, worked for one employer for at least 1 year in the past three years
Willing and able to stand for several hours, climb stairs and ladders, work on different floor surfaces, work in varying temperatures, and exposure to various chemicals found in a poultry processing plant
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Electrical courses completed at a technical school
Good reading, math and analytical skills
Knowledge of basic electrician controls and 3-phase 120, 220, and 440 wiring
2 years prior work experience as an Electrician "B"

Excellent work history, worked for one employer for more than 1 year in the past three years
Previous electrician experience in a manufacturing, production, and especially food processing facility
