Job Summary:
Serves as lead associate for the development of a knowledge management information share system that ensures that best project management practices as well as key project lessons learned and achievements are gathered, organized, managed, and disseminated across IDG using appropriate tools/platforms.

Essential Duties:
• Spearheads the development of a knowledge management information share system using appropriate tools/platforms.
• Develops and implements standardized templates and processes for the regular collection, synthesis and dissemination of lessons learned, technical and operational breakthroughs from IDG projects as well as best internal & external practices.
• Manages data and information in the PMSO KM information share system.
• Help PMSO define best practices and an SOP for Knowledge Management Information Share and works with Project teams and regional offices to ensure that projects adopt and comply with the SOP.
• Provides routine and ad hoc reporting and presentations on PMSO related topics to project management staff.
• Conducts training, orientation, and technical support for PMSO KM information share system and other PMSO services as applicable.
• Serves as back up to Senior Project Management Support Advisors in areas of project administration as needed.
• Serves as project management capacity back stop for Project Associates in IDG projects as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in applicable technical area or business management with 5 years of related experience in research, international development, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years or more experience in project management and / or information management.
• Two years or more experience in knowledge management system utilization.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work across technical and operational areas within a business group.
• Working knowledge of project management practices and information systems in international development.
• Ability to effectively gather, analyze, and report on data and information for a variety of purposes and audiences.
• Strong working knowledge and skill with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Strong working knowledge and skill with knowledge management or enterprise data system.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively and engage with multiple levels of stakeholders and staff.
