DuPont Pioneer is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Intern for the Central Business Unit. This role would provide support for marketing communications activities on a part-time basis during the school year and increase to full-time during the summer of 2014.

Responsibilities for this internship would include creating and scheduling content for social media, publishing product literature and helping coordinate year-round sales and marketing communications for the DuPont Pioneer business in Iowa. Next summer, the position would involve coordination and publication of local marketing pieces (i.e. one-page summaries, videos, ads, social media and product promotions) that promote Pioneer's key strengths. Intern will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of these projects.

Position will be 10-20 hours/week during the school year, with consideration and understanding of student schedule. 40 hours/week during summer months.

Skills:

College sophomore standing or above, majoring in marketing, business, or related agricultural field. 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.


Other qualifications:

•     Business and marketing understanding beneficial.
•     Highly detailed and organized critical.
•     Agricultural background beneficial.
•     Candidate must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
•     Good presentations skills.
•     Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
•     Motivated with a desire to interact with people and groups.
