SUMMARY

The Scale Master is responsible for operating the grain scale(s) and the computer systems to ensure the quality of inbound and outbound products. Team members in this position must be proficient with POET Nutrition and POET Ethanol Products applications. Based upon provided training, Scale Masters are also responsible for completing the grading of inbound feed stock such as corn, wheat and sorghum products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Grains experience preferred.
Knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications required.
Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team.
