ADM Procurement This is a full time, Non exempt position       


General Summary: The Contract Specialist is responsible for all aspects of coordinating the invoice verification and reconciliation process within Contract Management.  The Contract Specialist also is responsible for maintaining both the electronic database and original records of all contracts negotiated by Contract Management.  Other duties include review and research of existing contracts for specific terms and maintaining existing contract database.

Essential Job Functions:

 Verify accuracy of invoices and reconcile against the existing contract on file.  Determine that pricing, description, quantities and all invoice terms are accurate.
 Research existing agreements to determine contract terms in order to respond to questions regarding specific agreements.
Support requests from ADM departments concerning price history and summary of pricing for various reporting groups.  Much of this research is done in support of the annual budgeting process.
Maintain Contract Management contract database to ensure that new contracts and invoices related to existing contracts are logged into the database in a timely manner.
Maintain Owner List and send timely reminders to identified Owners in advance of upcoming expiration/renewal of existing contracts.
Support Contract Management team with spreadsheets and other assignments as necessary.

Self-motivated individual with an ability to apply independent judgment with an emphasis on quality and accuracy

Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 year degree in IT, accounting or business or equivalent competency is desired
Three to five years of experience in contracts management and familiarity with software licensing and maintenance agreements is desired, but not required
