District Sales Manager - Virginia down to Florida
Nationally recognized seed company is in search of a DSM to cover a territory from Virginia to Florida. While the role will have some farmer contact, this is a business to business type of DSM calling on established dealers and dealer prospects.
There is a good base of business to come into in this territory but also with plenty of room to grow. This has been a good area for them and they've decided to put a face to the customers in this area.
Responsibilities will include:
- Work with established dealers and distributors to grow the market share
- Establish new dealers and distributors for the given area
- Do direct selling and provide solid agronomic services to the local growers
- Be a coach and leader to the team of sales professionals
A minimum of 2 years sales experience is required for this position; ideally someone with 4 plus years field sales experience is desired.
The company will offer a solid base salary with a solid commission and bonus structure.
