CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Grain Marketing Division. We are looking for a Control Room Supervisor. You will assist in managing the day to day operations of the grain elevator and provide direct supervision to production and laborer employees.
You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will:
Manage the flow of grain inbound and outbound while maintaining a safe, efficient, and profitable operation.
Maintain grain inventory quality.
Work as the Assistant Terminal Superintendent in his/her absence following written and oral instructions by the Assistant Terminal Superintendent, Terminal Superintendent or Terminal Manager.
Be responsible for loading outbound grain with emphasis on blending of grain and a safe and efficient operation.
Manage the binning of inbound grain to maximize opportunities for outbound shipments.
Assign work to crew as necessary to maintain a safe, clean and efficient operation.
Supervise both union and non-union employees.
Be responsible for accurate reports on inventory for shift.
Understand company policies and procedures in particular safety program.
Adjust crew changes as needed, both production and FGIS.
Have knowledge of barges in fleet, demurrage, grades and know when to change accordingly.
Assume full shift responsibility for everyone on shift. (Salary & Hourly)

Associate degree (additional years of related work experience may substitute for degree).
5 years of experience in Terminal Operations to include:
Grain Industry experience
Supervisory experience
Must be able to work multiple shifts, including 3rd shift.
Must be able to attain First Aid and CPR certification.
Must be able to obtain weight and grade certification
Able to lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds.
Four year degree in Ag Business
Previous Terminal Manager experience
