The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land OLakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Government Relations.

Position Purpose:
The Sales Force Effectiveness Manager leads the Sales Learning and Development Team and is responsible for providing learning, development and support to maximize the effectiveness of the sales force at Land OLakes, build a strong sales talent pipeline that differentiates us in the marketplace, and help attract and retain top talent. This position will partner with sales leaders and HR Business Partners to establish and implement an enterprise-wide learning and development approach and framework for sales that accelerates the time to competence and meets the needs of multiple sales audiences.

Responsibilities include:

* Consulting and advising sales leaders on the defining clientcentered sales processes and identifying the critical sales capabilities (competencies) to drive the business strategy
* Understanding the different sales audiences and identifying the common and unique capabilities required
* Assessing and prioritizing high impact learning needs for sales leaders and professionals enterprise-wide
* Collaborating with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Corporate Learning and Development to create and implement a plan for the design, delivery, and measurement of sales programs, processes and tools that:
* Standardizes across businesses where possible
* Includes both formal and informal learning (classroom, online, social and experiential)
* Reflects best practices and sound learning principles
* Defines measures of success up front
Influencing, encouraging and engaging sales leaders to develop salespeople through coaching, mentoring and role modeling.

* Creating and helping manage learning paths for key audiences/roles/individuals, including cross-business rotations
* Evaluating options to build versus buy programs, processes and tools
* Establishing and managing a cadre of facilitators
Leveraging technology to provide a platform and tools for learning on-demand, virtual learning, easily accessible knowledge repository, and collaboration for sharing best practices

* Managing vendor relationships, evaluating vendor capabilities, negotiating contracts, and managing the quality of services delivered by vendors

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):

* Bachelors degree and 8-10 years related work experience
* 3-5 years of experience leading Sales Trainers
Competencies-Skills (Required):

* Strategic Thinking, Influencing, Communication Skills, Delivers Results, Consulting Skills, Project Management, Learning Design and Development, Learning Technology, Collaboration


Experience-Education (Preferred):
* Masters degree in a related field and 8 - 10 years related work experience
* 5-7 years of experience leading Sales Trainers
