SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for moderate to complex projects associated with the accurate preparation and timely filing of federal and state income and franchise tax returns and related reports. This position will also have responsibilities related to other tax compliance activities such as estimated tax, preparation of select income tax provision schedules, and minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring that tax matters are conducted in accordance with tax laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable degree in related field if candidate has significant relevant experience; in-depth knowledge of income tax laws and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Experience: 5+ years of experience.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have working ability with computer software such as Onesource, Excel, and Outlook; ability to perform technical tax research using RIA,BNA, or other tax research tools.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this position.

Special Skills: Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and should have knowledge of a broad range of corporate income tax matters. Certifications: CPA certification preferred.

Supervisory: This position may supervise tax accountants, clerical support, and interns.

Travel: Up to 3 domestic trips per year.
