Amount: Up to $10,000 to be utilised within the 12 month period immediately following the offer of the scholarship.
Background Information:
New for 2012 The WA Women's Society of Fine Arts and Crafts Travel & Exhibition Scholarship will be offered to an ECU female student who is enrolled in her 2nd year of a Bachelor of Arts degree course, majoring in Visual Arts or Contemporary Fashion and Textiles OR commencing her 2nd semester of a Master of Arts (Visual Arts) by Coursework OR 2nd semester of a Master of Communications by Research. The scholarship which will open annually was established to assist and encourage female students studying majors in Visual Art and/or Contemporary Fashion to undertake study overseas or to financially support exhibitions and performances that enhance the learning experience of their chosen program of study.

Applicants must:
Be female students
have successfully completed first year of her full time study (120 credit points) in an Undergraduate Bachelor degree of Arts (majoring in visual arts or fashion textiles OR successfully completed one (1) semester of her full time study (60 credit points) in either a Master of Arts (Visual Arts) by Coursework or Master of Communications by Research
And
be enrolled /enrolling into the second (2nd yr) or her Undergraduate course OR second (2nd semester) of her Master course
be enrolled in full time units (60 credit points)
not be in receipt of any other major scholarships

UG - Undergraduate bachelor courses
PG - Postgraduate coursework and postgraduate research

2nd year for undergraduate course

1. intended study plan or project
2. an explanation on why you have chosen this institution / exhibition space / placement and how this links with your study plan or project
3. an explanation on why this project is important for you to undertake at this time in your studies
4. an explanation on how this project will benefit your study program
5. itemize any associated costs with your Overseas Study or Exhibition / Performance
