CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Grain Marketing group. We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our growing organization.  You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail oriented.
In this position you will:

Coordinate day-today logistics activities required for the transportation of products via rail.
Maintain appropriate records and prepares reports
Work with production plants and sales staff on transportation schedules to ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics movement.
Expedite the transportation of products by trouble-shooting immediately when problems arise
Participate in distribution and network studies to help optimize delivery times and order fill rates.
Interface regularly with product management, production operation, IT, Sales staff, carriers and customers to discuss and improve on logistics management


Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other business related program
3-5 years experience in logistics or supply chain


Experience with Rail logistics is preferred
Understanding of grain marketing / agribusiness industry
Working knowledge of accounting practices
