Summary:
The Digital Communications Specialist (DCS) is responsible for assisting and supporting the Director of Communications by designing and developing effective and impactful e-products, including websites, videos, animated graphics, social media, e-blasts and online applications to engage target audiences. S/he also assists in the development of various interactive documents. S/he will work with external designers, writers, and other creative staff and freelancers, and coordinate activities with Pact’s IT team. The DCS is responsible for helping to design and distribute various internal communications as well as maintaining the Pact website.

The DCS reports to the Communications Director

Specific Duties:
• Producing Pact’s portfolio of web videos, photo slideshows and other multimedia, from scripting and storyboarding to finished product.
• Assisting in updating and managing content on Pact’s organizational website and affiliated sites.
• Designing and producing digital and print info-graphics.
• Ensuring best-practice search-engine-optimization and other tactics to reach Pact audiences
• Monitoring and analyzing web data.
• Assisting in the maintenance of social media properties, including sites like Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Managing email marketing products
• Repurposing internal/external information and documents (reports, departmental org charts, data tables, etc.) into e-content, interactive or otherwise.
• Identify low-cost or no-cost temporary solutions to challenges of document and photo sharing among our global country programs
• Suggest and pursue long-term graphic identity for Web properties and publications
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations and proposal materials, as needed
• Other related tasks, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
BA and at least 2+ years of related experience (or equivalent)

Preference for:
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, especially Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator, Edge Animate, Photoshop
• Experience producing videos in which subjects speak non-English languages and include animated infographics.
• HTML, CSS; JavaScript helpful.
• SEO skills
• Drupal or other CMS experience
• Experience in social media
• Portfolio in design (infographics) and digital media.
• Project management experience.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language
