Reputable, stable, and expanding irrigation business is seeking an experienced Service Manager to develop a winning service team. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled irrigation service professional to step into a fresh challenge on the ground floor and be a part of an exciting team.

The successful candidate will initially be doing service work, installing new systems, changing existing sprinklers, and managing the service end of the business for at least the first year. As new technicians are hired, this person will be able to use their knowledge and expertise with pivot systems to train, coach, and supervise them and oversee the various projects going on.
As the team grows, you will be meeting with farmers, setting up service and maintenance plans, and making sure those plans are carried out in a way that business is earned and maintained through excellence in the service team.

Candidates must have at least five years of irrigation experience and extensive knowledge and understanding of pivot systems and irrigation practices. Excellent communication and computer skills are required along with a very professional demeanor. A strong mechanical and electrical background with the ability to work on 3 phase / 480 is essential.
This will be a physically demanding position at times; one must have the physical stamina to be able to maneuver heavy parts in field conditions during hot weather.

This position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week year-round and will offer significant hours of overtime during the irrigation season. Compensation will be hourly and will initially reach $45-55,000 annually depending on experience, with room to grow.
