The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land OLakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Government Relations.
Position Purpose:
The Order Management Delivery Manager is responsible for organizing and executing the delivery of applications in alignment with company strategy as defined by IT and Business leadership. In this role, the Delivery Manager provides support to the Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams through expertise and management oversight in the configuration and development of new solutions, improvements to existing applications, and cross functional integration.
Applications in the Order Management and Order-To-Cash portfolio currently include JD Edwards (JDE) ERP and a variety of custom applications and portals designed to facility the order entry process and backend ERP and Warehouse integrations.
Responsibilities
The Order Management Manager has strong capabilities in process reengineering, solution definition, application assessments, and vendor evaluation/management. In addition to traditional IT skills, the position requires subject matter knowledge of Order Management/Fulfillment, Pricing, Product Configuration, and other customer-facing area knowledge including a working knowledge of JDE. This position is responsible for keeping ahead of the latest industry trends and understanding technology impacting the Order Fulfillment process.
1. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations ensuring IT alignment with Land O'Lakes market strategies, pricing, sales and service techniques.
2. Provide oversight in developing the application portfolio and strategic application roadmaps in support of Sales strategy.
3. Define, plan, develop, orchestrate, and manage the application deployments supporting the Order-To-Cash portfolio.
4. Manage and develop a highly functioning team of analysts responsible for delivering technology solutions.
5. Mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
6. Provide SDLC methodology support to teams charged with defining business requirements, functional designs, development, testing, and deployment.
7. Execute on projects utilizing both traditional waterfall and agile delivery methods.
8. Ensure application adoption and success by applying appropriate organizational change management techniques.
9. Provide leadership in the mapping of business processes into packaged applications.
10. Provide leadership in the development of custom applications in support of established business processes.
Qualifications
1. Subject matter expert in the delivery of technology solutions in support of the Order-To-Cash process
2. Management experience with core disciplines in Technology including JDE, mobile, and Web portals
3. Experience in Order Fulfillment, Pricing, Service, Contracts, Warehouse Management, and Shipping
4. Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively
5. Solid influencing and persuasion skills
6. Sound business and technical acumen
7. Experience with stakeholder management
8. Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
