OVERVIEW:

    Report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for developing, refining, and trouble-shooting the rubber molding processes.
    Will provide day-to-day plant-wide technical manufacturing support
    Will ultimately improving the overall plant efficiency and quality.
    

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •     Coordinate the process engineering, including design, planning and development
  •     Undertake scoping study level trade-off evaluations of process alternatives
  •     Develop processing plans, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, cost analysis and other areas as appropriate
  •     Oversee the cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations
  •     Responsible for new compound development,and documentation

To be considered for this role:

  •     Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering - Required
  •     5+ years of experience in rubber injection molding
  •     Must have a solid working knowledge of rubber molds and related tooling
  •     Must have exposure to rubber mixing and extrusion processes
  •     Will have ability to manage and complete multiple projects
  •     Adept at using lean manufacturing tools and advanced problem-solving techniques
  •     Have proficiency with Microsoft Office
  •     Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred

Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
