QUALIFICATIONS:                         
    HS diploma or GED required.  Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience in a food industry environment preferred. 2-3 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment preferred. Basic computer skills necessary. PLC knowledge a plus. Physical demands: Climbing including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools.

Work environment: 
Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat, and extreme cold conditions. This is a day shift position. Experience and knowledge of manufacturing/packaging equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, labeling equipment, and conveyors. Licenses not required, willing to train. Position requires a drug test and background check. Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions. Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties.

                                              
RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot, repair, AC/DC motors and drives, electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, photo eyes, proxy sensors, and limit switches. Day to day maintenance and repair to equipment. Troubleshoot and repair high speed food processing and packaging equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment. Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state and local environment requirements.
