Salary: US$60000 - US$80000 per year + commission



One of my top clients in Wisconsin is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to come in and hit the ground running with a new product they're launching.

This position will be responsible for the introduction of a new product to the market.
Duties will include developing and executing sales plans, identifying distribution sales channels, conducting market studies, attending trade shows and other related sales activities. We prefer candidates with a BS or equivalent in Agriculture, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of related experience. Experience with farm operations, successful introduction of new products, and a successful sales track record are preferred.

Travel up to 50% may be required.

This individual should have a proven track record of success with sales and must conduct themselves well in a business setting.

Technical Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

* Communicating new information to existing and new customers
* Promote company products in a very positive manner
* Represent company image at all times
* Constantly staying up to date on new products
* Support sales, service and manufacturing departments as needed

Technical Sales Representative Candidate must:


* BS or equivalent in agriculture, engineering or business
* Excellent communication, writing and organization skills
* Ability to work independently
* Experience with farm operations
* Successful sales record
* Ag background is a PLUS!
* Willing to travel (up to 50%)
* Feed and dairy background (preferred)
* Precision Ag background is a plus



Compensation: Base salary is targeted in the 60-70K range + sales commission

Sales Commission/Incentive is targeted at 15k for on plan performance, but is uncapped.
There is a significant ramp up for going beyond the plan.
