RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Complete Annual SMS Facility Audits/
    Track and post finding of SMS Audit to ensure facility participation and compliance
    Follow up on noted SMS Audit items and work with the facility on process to ensure compliance
    Aid in Insurance\Loss Control Surveys

    Ensure that Safety Awareness and  Authorized training is consistent, in compliance with Company and Governmental requirements
    Corporate review of Chemical (SiteHawk System)
    Corporate review/management of the Contractor Management System (ISNetworld)
    Lead Industrial Hygiene initiatives (chemical sampling, heat and noise)
    Crisis management.
    Management of communication/follow up pertaining to Safety, Health, and Emergency Response -Programs/Policies/Procedures
    Education and development of management team.
    Conduct Safety\Health training as identified.
    Support facilities lacking Safety Managers
    Actively participate in the FELT (DuPont) program at all levels.
    Assist with new process reviews and development.
    New safety technology development.
    Participate in PPE (personal protection equipment) auditing and development of new requirements as well as working with venders on the forefront of future PPE designs and technology.
    Participate in new program development.

    Continuing education annually
    Any other task as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:           
BS Safety and Health or related field with a minimum of five years experience                                          
or ten years of experience in safety and health in the food industry.
            Extensive safety and health and a minimum 2 years management experience
             Advanced safety and health skills.
            Extensive Travel  (50 to 60%)
