SUMMARY:
Troubleshoot and program, this position will perform high level machine and systems troubleshooting, repairs, assist engineering and plant staff with the specifications, installation and modification of integrated systems and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.
This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field) or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.

Experience: 4+years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience;

Computer Skills: Competent in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word; must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials and research techniques. Must be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all team member; must have a high level of verbal communication;strong interpersonal skills Certification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a plus.

Supervisory: Occasionally may Supervise Maintenance crew; must work and train other Tyson team members to advance their electrical skill set and workwith and on production scales and printers.

Special Skills: Ladder Logic Programming; installation, trouble shooting and programming of VFDs. Must have a working knowledge of Ether net data and data highway systems; able to program Allen Bradley and Panelview displays of VFDs; able to troubleshoot electrical circuits to include but not limited to 24v, 110, 120, 480 etc.; must possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with alllevels of management and operations personnel; critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Travel: 1-5 Trips per year
