Regional Sales Agronomist

We are looking Regional Sales Agronomist to cover California, Arizona and Nevada.   This individual must have a strong knowledge of channel distribution, a high level of passion and ability to develop strategic sales plans, drive sales, act like an owner and develop partnerships to create value in this marketplace.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sales and market development in California, Arizona and Nevada.  This will include:

    Owning and managing relationships with key dealers and distributors 
    Developing and implementing key dealer/distribution strategies for the territory
    Providing leadership on development of promotional activity and programs to drive growth of business 
    Developing and executing marketing, advertising and training plans for dealers and distributors 
    Identifying and developing relationships with dealers and distributors 
    Working with staff agronomists to develop product trials with dealers, distributors and researchers 

Requirements:

    Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or similar discipline
    5+ years' of agricultural sales/marketing experience
    Knowledge of crops grown in the region
    Strong computer skills, including high level of experience with Excel and PowerPoint
    Ability to travel 50%-70% of the time in a large geography
    Proven ability to grow business in fertilizer, crop protection or nutrient categories
