SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for selling products, increasing market share, and maintaining good customer relations with national account customers within a certain area in order to ensure the profitability of the division.
This requires tracking competitive activity and selling strategically against competitors; setting prices and approving price deviations and invoice deductions; and maintaining customer contact to promote good relations; handle complaints, concerns, questions, etc.
Other responsibilities include initiating and coordinating research and development projects for customers; managing weekly promotional activities and the investment of Tyson funds; evaluating selling opportunities and coordinating production capabilities with plants and the production scheduling department; creating and implementing marketing programs including advertising projects and promotional literature; creating innovative solutions to daily problems involving distribution trouble, production delays, and schedule changes; performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Experience: 6+ years experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Travel: 12 or more trips per year.
