Established and innovative company is seeking a Sales Executive who is committed to agriculture to take the lead in building their crop insurance program.
The successful candidate will thrive on getting out on the road and building relationships while marketing this company's proven business model.

An entrepreneurial-minded individual will enjoy the opportunity to help develop this company's vision and put their boots on the road to carry it out. Based in central Iowa, your vehicle will be your primary office as you go out to meet with managers and producers. Although not mandatory, a skilled crop insurance sales person with their own book who is looking to team up with a top-level, trusted organization would be a perfect fit for this position.

Other types of individuals who will be considered include agronomically trained sales professionals or other ag-based sales professionals with five or more years of experience. Candidates must be responsible, highly motivated, and willing to learn the crop insurance industry.

This is a key position in a company committed to agriculture where you can help develop a successful business / sales model, shape your own future, and become a part of the leadership team. Candidates must desire to get out and establish relationships of credibility, capitalize on relationships the company already has, and understand that your success depends on driving the country side and meeting with good people on their turf.

Salary is negotiable, but will likely be in the $80-85,000 range. As you establish yourself, your income can grow significantly based on a lucrative commission program. Excellent benefits are also provided. Rare overnight travel outside of central Iowa will be necessary.
