Great Lakes Swine Specialist

A well respected US Nutrition company is in need of a self-motivated, very commercial swine industry knowledgeable individual to drive swine feed sales to expand the current market share in the existing territory in the Great Lakes Region. This will be done by expanding current volumes through dealerships, feed mills, and direct sales to large customers, and with a direct focus on new business development and cold call prospecting.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would possess 5+ years of outside swine feed or animal health sales experience directly with customers and dealer service centers.  Exceptionally strong swine knowledge in the areas nutrition, production, sow and grow finish performance and ability to perform tech service walk-throughs with reports that position products into swine customer units and systems.
 This position will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume with established accounts and aggressively seeking new customers.
We need an outgoing, hard working person who has top-notch communication and sales skills, strong desire to succeed, and be able to travel from a home base of operations that may require overnight stays occasionally. The ideal candidate will have minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science with swine emphasis and a MS is preferred, with proven above average sales performance.
