Lab Tech-Keokuk, IA (Starch/Gluten Plant)
This is a full time, non-exempt position.

Job Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to work rotating shifts Performs daily process monitoring tests in the plant as assigned Perform analytical testing on finished product samples Document results of all testing procedures and promptly notify operators of required adjustments Maintain on-going records of the results of all testing procedures and input such data into the computer Performs routine maintenance and calibrations on ADM laboratory equipment Maintains a neat and clean work area, washing equipment as required and returning equipment to its proper storage area Maintains an effective working relationship with fellow employees Performs all duties in a safe manner, understanding that all accidents are preventable, zero is possible and safety is everyone's responsibility Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA,GMP,EPA,OSHA and ADM standards and guidelines Handle various chemicals in assorted containers in the manner outlined in the manufacturer's material safety data sheet

Job Requirements:
Chemistry and or Biology courses helpful, but not required
Good attendance history
 Excellent safety record and awareness
Demonstrates sufficient computer skills to utilize lab instrument operation programs
Demonstrates sufficient math skills to perform calculations associated with lab testing
Ability to work on multiple tasks
Ability to work as part of a team
Good organizational skills
Willingness to learn and take responsibility
Excellent communication skills
