Job Summary:
The Communications & Marketing Supervising Associate will help design, develop and manage internal and external communications for the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice. This individual will lead the group’s internal communications and coordinate specific activities tied to outward-facing awareness and engagement. General supervision will be provided, though the candidate will be expected to work independently, sometimes managing the work of others.

Responsibilities:
* Provide counsel to FAAS leadership on marketing investments and helping to ensure an effective mix of initiatives across the program year
* Work with the service line to develop a marketing and communications plan and budget
* Maintain annual calendar of communications and marketing priorities in the practice
* Liaise with the wider Assurance practice, building on opportunities for improved engagement and leveraging of shared resources
* Work with services teams; including video, design, print production and social media
* Contribute to FAAS presence externally through thought leadership, development of timely credentials, intelligence on the FAAS marketplace and competitive strengths/weaknesses
* Oversee writing quality and deployment of practice-specific communications
* Produce appropriate communications by engaging with practice leadership and subject matter experts; writing and editing articles, and securing reviews and approvals
* Participate in networking meetings for markets, clients or internal groups, as required
* Act as project manager for select marketing initiatives, generally under the direction of the Americas FAAS lead or go-to-market partner lead
* Provide communications support for major internal and external firm meetings and events
* Prescribe techniques for nurturing, managing and leveraging practice collateral
Knowledge and skills required

* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work and interact with senior management
* Demonstrated teamwork
* Excellent project management skills in a fast-moving environment
* Experience working in a financial services environment — with some exposure to financial reporting, transactions and accounting standards preferred
* Understanding of marketing concepts; exposure to social/digital channels
* Ability to deliver complex messages with clarity and relevance
* Ability to quickly understand products, services and operations in the group supported
Experience
* A minimum of 5 years marketing experience

Education
* A Bachelor’s degree, with a Marketing or Communications major
