Job Description:
A leading manufacturer supporting rotating equipment in industrial manufacturing, chemical, processing, construction, oil & gas, and refining industry has the immediate requirement for an experienced Applications Engineer to support technical product questions and applications from their U.​S.​ customer base.​ This position is based in Knoxville, TN.​

Responsibilities:
    Have working and hands on experience with rotating equipment, their applications, maintenance, repair and overhaul procedures.​
    Support field service representatives, distributors, repair facilities and end users with product support and selection guidance.​
    Provide installation and application support to internal and external clients.​
    Specify and analyze rotating equipment support systems
    Provide assistance in determining root cause analysis and failure analysis

Requirements:
    BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    Industry experience specific to rotating equipment such as mixers, pumps, agitators and motors.​
    Comprehensive understanding of fluid handling equipment and processes
    Knowledge of ANSI, API and specialty rotating equipment is preferred
    Failure analysis experience preferred
    Candidate must be motivated and desire to help solve applications problems to deliver better long term results to clients based upon mechanical expertise and ability to diagnose issues and provide solutions.​
